The USA Stars is a non-profit corporation that provides participants with the training and venues to compete as an all-star cheerleader.  Girls and boys ages 5 through 18 work together and learn to stunt, cheer, jump, dance, and tumble, in an elaborately choreographed routine, to music specifically customized to fit the performance.  These routines are only 2 minutes and 30 seconds long, but are packed with high energy movement and a variety of difficult stunts that dazzle the spectators and, hopefully, impress the judges. Complicated pyramids, breathtaking basket tosses, and tightly timed transitions become routine fare for every cheerleader who becomes an all-star... and fear... that word just isn’t in their vocabulary.

Just to put a stop to the rumors...
Recently, other competitive gyms in our area are implying that the Stars (or anyone else) cannot have a level 5 team... there is no truth to this... in fact, any gym can have a level 5 team... The Stars simply waited until the time was right for us as a program to put this team in place.  We are looking forward to the challenge of implementing our first  Senior Level 5 team and believe that we will be able to bring a little something new to the floor... not just the same stuff we have all seen before. 

And - as always - we are still the least expensive program in the area... $1000 per year which includes gym fees, choreography, music, team tumbling, uniform rental, hair ribbon, socks, t-shirt, x-mas shirt, and year-end goodies.  All you have left to cover are bloomers, sneakers, and travel costs - and we only do one overnighter a season.  There are also discounts for siblings. 

So if you have any other doubts or questions, don't hesitate to contact me... I'll be glad to put your mind at ease.   But don't wait too long... tryouts start next week!
